The C Street Co-op is now accepting applications for a first floor 1-bed, 1-bath suite (available expected Jan.-Feb. 2024). Applications will be processed in the order they're received. C Street is a permanently affordable housing cooperative in Springfield, OR consisting of six 1-bedroom suites.
The asking price for purchasing this membership in the co-op is $10,650. Financing of up to $5,000 is available through SquareOne's revolving loan fund. There is a monthly carrying charge of $825/month paid to the co-op, which covers insurance, taxes, mortgage payment, utilities, maintenance and reserves. To qualify, your household income must be at or under 80% of the area median income in Lane County.
