Living at Peace Village Co-op

Many people wonder how living in a housing co-op may differ from a typical apartment rental or single-family homeownership. In the videos below, some of the initial members of Peace Village Co-op share their experience during the first year of occupancy.

"I came from very high rents and unpredictable circumstances into a place that I can afford, and a cooperative, which Ive really been looking forward to being a part of since I was a child. I'm very happy with the situation here. I believe in my bones that we are a family here. Whether we like it or not."

— Ellie, Peace Village Resident
